Aquarium hosts seafood series

The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is hosting a Succulent Seafood series to help jazz up holiday feasts with local fish dishes.

The course takes participants to area’s top restauarants where top chefs share how they craft their favorite culinary creations with local fish, shellfish and crustaceans. In addition to cooking tips and a chance to chat with the chefs, participants also learn about conservation and life cycles of various seafood specia.s

The sessions begin at 2 p.m. and conclude with a taste test. Sessions will be held on Dec. 1 at Riverside Steahouse in Swansboro and on Dec. 7 at Crab’s Claw in Atlantic Beach.

The fee is $15 per person, per class and advance registration is required.
