Three arrested on drug charges


On Thursday, members of the Kinston Department of Public Safety
Narcotics Unit , and the Lenoir County Narcotics Unit, executed a search warrant 1704 W. Washington Ave. Kinston.


Detectives received information from numerous sources that heroin
was being sold from this residence. After executing the warrant detectives seized heroin and US currency from the residence and made three arrests.


Leanna Isis Frasier of Kinston was charged with possession with intent to sell drugs and maintaining a dwelling for drugs. Takyra Kitchens of Kinston was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin and maintaining a dwelling for drugs. Timothy Stephens of Kinston was charged with possession of schedule IV (diazepam) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Narcotics detectives will be obtaining warrants for an additional suspect.
