Woman accused of assaulting man, causing serious injury

A Jacksonville woman is accused of assaulting a man, causing his eye to fall out of his socket, according to warrants.

Shantae Myers, 28, of Myrtlewood Circle, was charged Saturday by the Jacksonville Police Department with assault to cause serious bodily injury.

Myers is accused of assaulting a man, injuring his left eye, causing the eye to hang outside its socket, according to warrants.

According to warrants, the man allegedly assaulted may lose sight in that eye.

Bond was set at $5,000.
