A Richlands man and woman have been charged with breaking into vehicles, authorities say.
At approximately 8:40 p.m. Tuesday Jacksonville Police responded to a breaking and entering to a vehicle in progress at the Yopp Road Wal-Mart, according to a press release from the department. There, Rebekah Hurff, 30, of Barbee Road, was detained.
During the investigation, a second suspect, Jason Horne, 28, of Barbee Road, was taken into custody, according to the release.
Both suspects are charged with additional breaking and entering cases to vehicles that occurred at the Western Boulevard Wal-Mart.
Hurff was charged with four counts of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle, three counts of larceny, three counts of possession of stolen goods, two counts of possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of burglary tools, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony conspiracy.
Horne was charged with four counts of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle, three counts of larceny, two counts of possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of burglary tools, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony conspiracy.
Each received a $30,000 bond.
