The Jacksonville City Council has scheduled a retreat at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Youth Center on new Bridge Street.
The topic to be discussed is the Downtown Master Plan. The plan can be viewed on the city’s Web site at www.ci.jacksonville.nc.us.
Action may or may not be taken during the retreat.

Behavioral Health Committe meets

Preschool Storytime
Onslow County Public Libraries invites children ages three to five to “Preschool Storytime” at the Jacksonville Library on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.; at the Sneads Ferry Library on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.; at the Richlands Library on Thursdays at 11 a.m.; and at the Swansboro Library on Thursdays at 11 a.m. The 30-minute program is designed for children, without their caregivers, to experience books, fingerplays, movement and imagination.
