A Swansboro High School senior is dead after a wreck on N.C. 24 Monday night, authorities said.
Justin Keith, of N.C. 24, a right seat passenger in a car that failed to yield while turning left onto Howell Road, died at Onslow Memorial Hospital, said N.C. State Highway Patrol Sgt. R. A. Moreau.
Nathan Craft, of Hubert, who was driving a 1999 Hyundai, turned into the path of Angela Collins, of Newport, who was driving a 1997 Chevrolet at approximately 7 p.m., Moreau said.
Both drivers were treated at Onslow Memorial Hospital.
Moreau said Keith was wearing a seat belt.
The wreck remains under investigation.
