Woman accused of driving car into area business

Police charged a Jacksonville woman with hit and run and drug possession after her car crashed into a business Christmas Eve.

Rhiannon Kay Willoughby, 29, of Shenandoah Road, was charged Thursday by the Jacksonville Police Office with hit and run, carrying a concealed weapon, driving while impaired, drug possession, possessing of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license revoked.

Willoughby is accused of crashing a 1997 Oldsmobile into the front of Vital Signs on Western Boulevard then leaving the scene, according to arrest warrants.

She also possessed a pocket knife, marijuana, Xanax and a smoking device, according to warrants.

Her bond was set at $2,500.
