Woman burned in stove fire

A stove fire inside a Bellawoods area mobile home injured a woman this afternoon.

The Piney Green Volunteer Fire Department responded to 318 Carlson Drive at 1:50 p.m.

"We found a cooking-related stove fire and put it out," said Chief Peter Triolo.

A woman inside the home was burned on her hands and face. Fire officials would not identify the woman, citing medical privacy laws.

Except for a lot of smoke, there was very little damage to the structure of the trailer, Triolo said.
