Vehicle accident
Sepia Foye, 26, of Kinston, was injured Sunday after her 1993 Chevrolet Blazer overturned at the intersection of U.S. 70 West and U.S. 258 North.
Kinston police said Foye failed to stop for a red light while traveling east on 70, hit a 1995 Jeep Cherokee making a left turn, and flipped over around 9 a.m.
Ofc. T.A. Jarvis said Foye will be charged with driving without license, failure to stop for a red light, speeding and reckless driving. Foye's passenger, her 25-year-old sister Kia, was uninjured.
The Cherokee's driver, 21-year-old Matthew Martin of Kinston, also escaped injury.
Foye was taken to Lenoir Memorial Hospital, and later Pitt County Memorial Hospital, for treatment.
