New Bern, Havelock marching bands perform

HAVELOCK - The New Bern and Havelock high school marching bands performed this afternoon at the Crystal Coast Band Classic at Havelock High School.
The event features 23 high school bands from throughout the region competing in five size classifications, as well as a performance by the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band from Cherry Point air station.
The competition serves as the largest fundraising event of the year for the Havelock High School band program. The hometown Marching Rams gave an exhibition performance.
