The following incidents were reported by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office and the Kinston Department of Public Safety:
On April 24, an 11-year-old male reported someone threw a rock which struck him in the back of the head, resulting in minor injuries. The incident occurred at Moss Hill Elementary School in Kinston.
On April 27, a man reported someone stole his 1995 Buick Lasabra. The vehicle is valued at $800. The incident occurred on U.S. 70 West, Kinston.
On April 27, a man on Trail Boss Lane, Pink Hill, reported the following items stolen: Twenty-five towels/wash rags valued at $25, a title to a Harley Davidson motorcycle, a .22 caliber Ruger rifle valued at $200, and a ½ inch electrical drill valued at $100. Damages to two picture frames were estimated at $10, and damages to a shop door were estimated at $300. The victim reported the thefts/damages occurred while he was in the process of moving.
On April 28, a man on Pony Lane, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence and attacked him with a wooden object.
