Sun Journal

HAVELOCK -- A church and a nonprofit education organization will hold a free information fair Thursday evening for pregnant women and parents with babies.

Craven Smart Start and other county organizations will provide information about infant and toddler development, child safety, children's social and emotional development, toys, reading to children and other topics.

The information is for pregnant women and parents with children 3 years old and younger. People who attend will receive free children's books and other materials.

The fair will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church at 206 Miller Boulevard.

Pinkie Moore, the community-outreach coordinator for Craven Smart Start, said people can call her at 252-671-0689 for more information.
