Lejeune Marine casualty identified

A Camp Lejeune Marine died in Afghanistan Thursday, Defense Department officials announced Friday morning.

Lance Cpl. Joshua T. Twigg, 21, of Indiana, Pa., died while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, according to the release. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force.
