Michelle Obama to visit Jacksonville

DAILY NEWS STAFF

Michelle Obama will visit Jacksonville on Tuesday to host a community event with military families as part of the Obama-Biden campaign, according to a press release. Michelle Obama will discuss the unique challenges military families face and family responsibilities during an economic crisis.

She also plans to share the Obama-Biden plan to support troops and veterans, and provide economic security for families in the state.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Center at 100 Recreation Lane. Doors open at noon.

The program is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.

For security reasons, do not bring bags, and limit personal items. No signs or banners are permitted.
