Pamlico Habitat seeks donated items
BAYBORO - Habitat for Humanity of Pamlico County wants to help with your spring cleaning. Habitat volunteers will pick up your donated items, or you can drop them off at the Habitat Resale Store in Bayboro. Donated items help to raise money to build affordable housing for Pamlico County residents. It is also a worthwhile way to recycle, according to Habitat.
Items that are needed include small and large appliances (in working order), furniture, televisions, building materials, and other household goods. Habitat cannot accept mattresses or clothing.
The Habitat store is at 13584 N.C. 55 next door to Eastern Propane. Store hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
