The following incidents were reported by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office and the Kinston Department of Public Safety:
On June 20 woman on North Adkin Street, Kinston, reported someone vandalized the driver-side window of her vehicle. Damages were estimated at $100. Arresting officer: K. Jenkins.
On June 19, a woman reported someone struck her with a closed hand. No injuries were reported. The incident occurred in a parking lot on Hardee Road, Kinston.
On June 19, an employee of Neuse Sport Shop on East New Bern Road, Kinston, reported someone damaged a security camera. Damages were estimated at $300.
On June 19, an employee of Henderson Audiometrics Inc. reported someone broke into a vehicle and stole the following: An XM satellite radio reciever valued at $280 and a GPS unit valued at $200. Damages to the vehicle were estimated at $150. The incident occurred in a parking lot on West New Bern Road, Kinston.
On June 19, an employee of Piggly Wiggly on North Herritage St., Kinston, reported someone attempted to steal for steaks valued at $45 (recovered). The case was closed with an arrest.
On June 21, a woman reported someone broke into her vehicle and stole a cell phone. The phone is valued at $75. Damages to the vehicle wer estimated at $150. The incident occurred in a parking lot on US 258 South, Kinston.
On June 21, a woman on Marilyn Drive, Kinston, reported someone slapped her in the face and grabbed her arms. No injuries were reported.
On June 21, a man on Stadium Drive, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence and stole the following: Cloting/furs valued at $200, 50 audio/video recordings valued at $350, two Sony Xbox consoles valued at $400, and 10 Sony Xbox games valued at $300. Damages to the residence were estimated at $200.
