Incident reports

The following incidents were reported by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office and the Kinston Department of Public Safety:

On June 21, a man on Daly Waldrop Road, Kinston, reported someone broke into his vehicle and stole the following: A GPS power cord valued at $20, and a car jack valued at $20.

On June 20, a woman reported someone scratched her vehicle and deflated her tires. Damages were estimated at $250. The incident occurred in a parking lot on Morningside Drive, Kinston.

On June 20, a woman on Tiffany St., Kinston, reported someone threatened her.

On June 19, a woman reported she was assaulted. No injuries were reported. The incident occurred East Caswell Street, Kinston.

On June 19, a woman on East Lenoir Avenue, Kinston, reported someone broke into a vacant residence. Damages to a window were estimated at $50.

On June 21, a woman reported someone slapped her in the face. The incident occurred in residence of the offender on Savannah Lane, Kinston.

On June 19, a woman on Towerhill Road, Kinston, reported someone threatened her with a knife. The complaintant and the suspect hit each other with chairs. No injuries were reported.
