The following incidents were reported by the Kinston Department of Public Safety and the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office:
On Sept. 27, a representative of Gethsemane Seventh Day Adventist Church on Old Snow Hill Road, Kinston, reported someone vandalized a metal outbuilding. Damages were estimated at $50.
On Sept. 22, a representative of Stop One Convenience Store on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, La Grange, reported someone damaged telephone equipment. Damages were estimated at $25.
On Sept. 24, a woman on East Highland Avenue, Kinston, reported someone threatened to push her in the back of her head and grabbed her son by the neck. No injuries were reported.
On Sept. 23, a woman reported someone scratched her vehicle with an unknown object. Damages to the Acura RSX were estimated at $300. The incident occurred in a parking lot on Savannah Lane, Kinston.
On Sept. 23, a man reported his girlfriend struck him in the face with her fists, resulting in minor injuries.
On Sept. 22, a man reported someone broke into his residence and stole the following: Assorted furniture valued at $1,500; a computer chair valued at $75 (recovered). Damages to a window were estimated at $50.
On Sept. 23, a representative of Kinston Housing Authority reported someone damaged a door by punching. Damages were estimated at $150. The incident occurred on Carver Court, Kinston.
On Sept. 23, a woman on North Independence Avenue, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence and stole the following: An LG 50" flat screen TV valued at $2,800; a 27" Samsung TV valueda t $500; a Curtis DVD player valued at $50. Damages to a metal window frame were estimated at $25.
On Sept. 23, a man on Institute Road, Kinston, reported the theft of two catalytic converters. The converters are valued at $750.
On Sept. 23, a man on Braxton Road, Grifton, reported someone hauled a vehicle from his yard without consent. The Ford Econoline van is valued at $3,500.
On Sept. 23, a woman on Pauls Path Road, Kinston, reported an attempted case of fraud.
On Sept. 23, a man on Sleepy Fox Drive, Grifton, reported someone borrowed a bicycle, stripped parts from same, making bicycle inoperable. The Next One dirt bike is valued at $50.
On Sept. 23, a woman on Tyree Road, Kinston, reported a case of fraud via telephone. The amount stolen was $8,000.
On Sept. 23, a woman on Falling Creek Road, La Grange, reported someone broke into her vehicle and stole medication (Percocet) - value not listed. Damages to the Chevrolet Silverado were estimated at $500.
On Sept. 24, a man on Groundnut Creek Drive, La Grange, reported his girlfriend slapped him in the face. No injuries were reported.
On Sept. 24, a woman on Waterchestnut Street, Kinston, reported her boyfriend twisted her arm. No injuries were reported.
On Sept. 23, an employee of Andy's on West Vernon Avenue, Kinston, reported someone stole $141 from a cash register.
