Accident reports

The following accidents were reported by the State Highway Patrol:

Accident time/location: Oct. 25, 7:15 p.m., .49 miles south of Pink Hill on N.C. 241.

Driver: Maria Antonia Turner, 39, 488 Church Road, Pink Hill, in a 1997 Mazda.

What happened: Turner was traveling south on N.C. 241. The vehicle ran off the road on the right and struck the ditch. The vehicle came to final rest upon impact.

Damages: Damages to Turner's vehicle were estimated at $1,000.

Injuries: None reported.

Charges: None.

Accident time/location: Oct. 25, 1:15 a.m., 1.3 miles east of Seven Springs in the parking lot of Club 55.

Drivers: Driver one unknown; Driver two parked.

What happened: Driver two was parked in the parking lot of Club 55. Driver one backed into the left front of Driver two's vehicle. Driver one then left the scene. Driver two came to rest at the point of impact. Note: Driver two found a Virginia license tag XTA 8871 on the ground.

Damages: Damage estimates were not available for Driver one's vehicle;

              Damages for Driver two's vehicle were estimated at $1,500.

Injuries: None reported.

Charges: None.

Accident time/location: Oct. 17, 5:54 p.m., in Maysville near U.S. 17.

Drivers: Lynndale Williams, 23, 893 Davis Field Road, Pollocksville, in a 1996 Chevrolet;

           Mark William Hardin, 36, 101 Fair Oaks Drive, Conyers, in a 2007 Chevrolet.

What happened: Williams was traveling west on 4th Street. Hardin was traveling north on U.S. 17. Williams failed to yield to the right of way and collided with Hardin's vehicle. Williams fled the scene and Hardin's vehicle was moved prior to the trooper's arrival.

Damages: Damages to Williams' vehicle were estimated at $5,000;

              Damages to Hardin's vehicle were estimated at $2,000.

Injuries: None reported.

Charges: Williams was charged with driving while impaired, hit and run, fail to yield.
