The following inspection was conducted by the Lenoir County Health Department over the past week. The "2 PT Credit" is automatically added to an establishment's overall score if a manager or employee attends a food safety course approved by the Lenoir County Health Department:

Fried chicken wings 100F, egg rolls 76F, and sweet and sour chicken 76-90F at room temp. Per owner, all fried 20-30 minutes ago - corrected during inspection. Discussed tilt. These foods shall be held in temperature control until completed tilt apps are submitted an approved.

Do not store bowl for dipping raw meat directly on top of veges in sandwich-make refrig. Find a better way/place to store it. Do not let it stay out at room temperature over two hours. Get back-up utensils so the ones you use can be washed/rinsed/sanitized/air-dried.

Few food contact surfaces have not been washed/rinsed/sanitized by approved methods. This is important. Do not wash chopping boards in food prep sink. When a food contact surface is soiled, it shall be washed, rinsed and sanitized by approved methods, not just washed. All food contact surfaces shall be washed, rinsed and sanitized by approved methods. Discussed in detail.

Food contact surface not air-dried prior to use. All food contact surfaces shall be permitted to thoroughly air-dry before storing. Towel-drying is not permitted.
