Updated 2:57 p.m.

A Farmville man was arrested earlier today for this morning's armed robbery at Bojangles' in Snow Hill. Justin L. Tyson, 22, was arrested when he went to the Greene County Sheriff's Office to retrieve his vehicle, which had been siezed by police during the course of their investigation, said Snow Hill police Chief John Rea.

Tyson is being held in the Greene County jail on $50,000 bond, charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Rea said an "undetermined amount" of cash was taken from the restaurant; no one was injured, and the Bojangles' remains open.

Updated 12:25 p.m.: Snow Hill police Chief John Rea has just informed The Free Press that a man has been arrested for this morning's Bojangles robbery. He would not give the man's name, but said he had been arrested "five minutes" before.

SNOW HILL -- Law enforcement officers are combing the downtown area today after a morning robbery at the Bojangles restaurant several hours ago. Snow Hill police Chief John Rea told WITN-TV the Kingold Boulevard establishment was robbed by a man with a handgun around 6:40 a.m. today while customers and employees were there. The Free Press witnessed Rae and about five Greene County Sheriff's deputies walk through downtown and question business owners and pedestrians -- the suspect had walked through the area around 11 a.m., according to witnesses. The Kingold Boulevard Bojangles, which is operated by Tands Inc. of Kinston, was robbed at night on Jan. 23, part of a spate of fast-food robberies in the region.
