The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for Kyle Cooley, a 16-year-old Ayden resident for his involvement in a Hugo Church Road robbery last year.
The office alleges on Nov. 27, Cooley, who was last known to reside in the Boulevard Street area of Ayden, entered a residence in the Hugo community, along with five unknown males, and robbed the family of four at gunpoint.
A warrant for his arrest was issued in December for robbery with a dangerous weapon, as well as conspiracy charges.
Cooley is considered to be armed and dangerous and if observed, local law enforcement asks that they be contacted immediately.
If anyone has information on Cooley’s whereabouts, please contact the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at 252-559-6140, the Lenoir County Crimestoppers at 252-523-4444, the Greenville/Pitt County Crimestoppers at 252-758-7777 or — if after hours or weekends — please contact the Lenoir County 911 Center at 252-559-6112.
