The following incidents were reported by the Kinston Department of Public Safety and the Lenoir Couty Sheriff's Office:
On Sept. 28, a man on Indigo Lane, Kinston, reported someone stole a GMC Suburban valued at $5,000.
On Sept. 27, a woman on Echo Drive, La Grange, reported someone broke into her residence and stole a (red) lapt top computer valued at $800. Damages to a back door were estimated at $50.
On Sept. 26, a woman on Brandy Avenue, La Grange, reported the following stolen from her residence: A Samsung 32" flat screen TV valued at $300, a Dell lap top computer valued at $600, a (red) digital camera valued at $100, a pair of Air Jordon/Nike tennis shoes valued at $200, a beaded bracelet valued at $50, and a car CD player valued at $180.
On Sept. 26, a man on Washington Street, La Grange, reported someone scratched his Lincoln Town Car with a sharp object. Damages were estimated at $5,000.
On Sept. 26, a woman on Brandy Avenue, La Grange, reported someone broke into her residence and stole a JVC stereo component valued at $400.
On Sept. 25, a man reported someone assaulted him with a deadly weapon, resulting in an injury. The incident occurred on Taylor Street, La Grange.
On Sept. 28, a woman on West Washington Avenue, Kinston, reported she got into a fight with her daughter, resulting in minor injuries.
On Sept. 28, a man on Brookhaven Drive, Kinston, reported someone stole a Craftsman 42" riding lawn mower valued at $800.
On Sept. 28, a man reported someone stole a bicycle valued at $200. The incident occurred on Holman Street, Kinston.
On Sept. 28, an employee of Kinston High School reported someone forced open a window and entered a building. Damages to a window lock were estimated at $15.
