Incident reports
The following incidents were reported to the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office and the Kinston Department of Public Safety:
On Oct. 24, the KDPS reported a subject on Morningside Drive, Kinston, called 911 and made a false report. The incident was cleared by an arrest.
On Oct. 24, a woman on Grant Street, Kinston, reported someone broke a window and entered her residence. Damages to the window were estimated at $200.
On Oct. 23, a woman reported someone struck her in the face, resulting in minor injuries. The incident occurred on Dixon Street, Kinston.
On Oct. 23, an employee of Hairy's on Queen Street, Kinston, reported someone kicked in a door and stole the following: Two hair brushes valued at $12 and hair clipper oil valued at $50.
On Oct. 23, a woman reported someone damaged a window and window screen at a residence on Girl Scout Road, Kinston. Damages were estimated at $75.
On Oct. 25, an employee of Kinston Mini Mart on East Bright Street, Kinston, reported someone stole a bottle of red wine valued at $6.
On Oct. 25, a woman on Parker Street, Kinston, reported someone broke into her residence and stole the following: An HP computer valued at $700, two skill saws valued at $200, a black sander valued at $18, a blue sander valued at $16, a gold ring valued at $400, and a gold diamond ring valued at $1,200. Damages to a glass window were estimated at $50; damages to a wooden door frame were estimated at $100.
On Oct. 25, a man on Lewis Lane, Kinston, reported someone hit him and broke a window. The assault resulted in minor injuries. Damages to the window were estimated at $250.
On Oct. 25, a man on Georgetown Road, Kinston, reported someone broke into her residence and stole a 26" LCD Sanyo high definition flat screen television valued at $500.
On Oct. 26, a woman on East Caswell Street, Kinston, reported someone threw a brick through a window at her residence. Damages were estimated at $300.
