Incident reports

The following incidents were reported by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office and the Kinston Department of Public Safety:

 

On Oct. 30, an employee of Piggly Wiggly on North Herritage Street, Kinston, reported someone stole household goods valued at $3.49 (recovered).

On Oct. 30, an employee of Dance Expressions on West Lenoir Avenue, Kinston, reported someone broke in and stole $5. Damages to a window were estimated at $300.

On Nov. 2, a woman reported someone stole her LG cell phone. The phone is valued at $90. The incident occurred at a store on North Herritage Street, Kinston.

On Nov. 1, a man woman on Hodges Road, Kinston, reported someone stole the registration plate from his vehicle. The plate is valued at $25.

On Nov. 1, a man on McCaskill Drive, Kinston, reported somene struck him in the head with a cane, resulting in no injuries.

On Nov. 1, a man reported someone damaged his vehicle by denting a door and scratching the surface. Damages to the Dodge Intrepid were estimated at $500.

On Oct. 30, an employee of Radio Shack on West Vernon Avenue, Kinston, reported someone stole a Virgin cell phone. The phone is valued at $99.99.

On Oct. 31, an employee of Quality New and Used Tires on MLK Jr. Boulevard, Kinston, reported someone damaged a chain link fence. Damages were estimated at $50.

On Oct. 31, a woman on Savannah Lane, Kinston, reported someone hit her in the face, resulting in minor injuries.

On Oct. 31, an employee of WalMart on West Vernon Avenue, Kinston, reported someone stole the following: Leather boots valued at $50 (recovered), a hooded fleece valued at $16 (recovered), and a DVD valued at $20 (recovered). The incident was cleared by an a arrest.

On Oct. 31, a man reported someone stole a bicycle valued at $60. The incident occurred at a convenience store on Mitchell Street, Kinston.

On Oct. 31, a man reported someone bit him, resulting in no injuries. The incident occurred at a residence on East Highland Avenue, Kinston.

On Oct. 31, a man on Carver Court, Kinston, reported someone threatened to kill him.

On Oct. 30, a man on Sherman Street, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence and stole camera equipment valued at $50 (recovered). Damages to the residence were estimated at $100.
