    Incident reports

    The following incidents were reported to the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office and the Kinston Department of Public Safety:

     

    On Nov. 2, a female student at North Lenoir High School reported the following lost: $13 cash, a credit/debit card valued at $10, a wallet valued at $10, and an insurance card valued at $10.

    On Nov. 4, a woman on Sleepy Fox Drive, Grifton, reported someone threatened and assaulted her.

    On Nov. 4, a woman on Eason Road, La Grange, reported someone broke into her residence and stole the following: A Nintendo Wii gaming system valued at $350 and ten Nintendo Wii games valued at $500.

    On Nov. 4, a woman on Paul's Path Road, Kinston, reported someone attempted to break into her residence. Damages to a window were estimated at $100.

    On Nov. 4, a man reported someone stole a water pump from a well. The incident occurred at a residence on Juniper Lane, Deep Run. The pump is valued at $500. Damages to a well-water pipe were estimated at $2,000.

    On Nov. 5, a man in Kinston reported someone reached into his vehicle and stole a .38 caliber handgun from his vehicle. The man also reported he was assaulted, resulting in minor injuries. The gun is valued at $200.

    On Nov. 6, a woman reported someone stole her wallet. The wallet is valued at $20 and contained an ID card valued at $10. The incident occurred at a hotel on North Heritage Street, Kinston.

    On Nov. 5, a man on Morningside Drive, Kinston, reported someone slapped him in the face, resulting in minor injuries.

    On Nov. 5, a woman on Dixon Street, Kinston, reported someone dented a gas pack air conditioning unit. Damages were estimated at $1,000.

    On Nov. 5, an employee of Harris Tire on MLK Jr. Boulevard, Kinston, reported the following stolen: A regulator for an LP gas tank valued at $75 and 15ft. of copper tubing gas line valued at $40.

    On Nov. 5, a woman on Carver Court, Kinston, reported someone stole $27 from her bedroom.

    On Nov. 5, a man reported someone stole a commercial-grade Echo leaf blower valued at $450 from the back of a truck. The blower is valued at $450.

    On Nov. 4, a man on Brentwood Drive, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence and stole the following: A Dell laptop computer valued at $300 and a gold chain valued at $350. Damages to a glass window were estimated at $300.
