Incident reports

The following incidents were reported to the Kinston Department of Public Safety and the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office:

 

On Nov. 2, a man on Simmons Street, La Grange, reported someone broke into his residence and stole the following: A black microwave valued at $150, miscellaneous DVDs valued at $300, and miscellaneous womens clothing valued at $100. Damages to a door were estimated at $50.

On Nov. 2, a man on East Washington Street, La Grange, reported someone stole his 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. An estimated value for the vehicle was not available.

On Nov. 5, a man reported the theft of a heating/air conditioning unit. The unit is valued at $2,000. The incident occurred at a residence on East Washington Street, La Grange.

On Nov. 5, a woman on Will Baker Road, Kinston, reported someone assaulted her and pointed a gun at her.

On Nov. 6, an employee of Sprint/AT&T/Verizon Wireless reported the following stolen: Three copper master ground bars valued at $160. Damages to miscellaneous cell phone equipment were estimated at $3,400. The incident occurred on Zack Howard Road, Kinston.

On Nov. 6, a woman on Kelly Road, Kinston, reported the following stolen: Computer hardware/software valued at $800, and a TV valued at $1,200.

On Nov. 6, a woman on Braxton Road, Grifton, reported someone stole a TV valued at $350.

On Nov. 6, a man on Fordham Grady Community Road, Kinston, reported his wife slapped him. No injuries were reported.

On Nov. 8, a woman on Mary Ann Lane, Kinston, reported someone vandalized a mailbox. Damages were estimated at $70.
