The following incidents were reported by the Kinston Department of Public Safety and the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office:
On Jan. 13, a woman on Old Ridgeway Drive, Kinston, reported someone stole household goods valued at $2,200.
On Jan. 19, a man reported someone stole a 2002 Ford Explorer valued at $23,000 and a firearm valued at $350. The incident occurred on Commerce Drive, Kinston.
Jan. 19, a man on Bryan Hardy Road, LaGrange, reported someone attempted to break into his residence by prying open a door. Damages to the door were estimated at $100.
On Jan. 19, a Kinston man reported someone stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle. The converter is valued at $300.
On Jan. 14, a man on Morningside Drive, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence and stole the following: A Gateway laptop computer valued at $250 and a blue/shite Jansport book bag valued at $20.
On Jan. 14, a man on Girl Scout Road, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence and stole the following: A shotgun (serial number nu275266) valued at $80, a shotgun valued at $80, a rifle valued at $300, a Dell computer valued at $300, and a Wii game console valued at $250.
On Jan. 14, a woman reported someone scratched her vehicle. Damages were estimated at $500. The incident occurred at a retail establishment on West Vernon Avenue, Kinston.
On Jan. 14, a man on Oriental Avenue, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence through a window and stole two swords valued at $4,000.
On Jan. 14, a woman on Crestwood Avenue, Kinston, reported someone broke into her residence and stole the following: A GPS unit valued at $150; an iPod valued at $100, and 15 assorted DVDs valued at $25. Damages to a window were estimated at $50.
On Jan. 16, a woman on Howard Street, Kinston, reported someone vandalized a window. Damages were estimated at $25.
