The following incidents were reported by the Kinston Department of Public Safety and the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office:
On Jan. 14, a man reported he lost orsomeone stole a NC registration plate. The plate is valued at $25. The incident occurred in a wooded area near Taylor Heath Road, Kinston.
On Jan. 22, a man on Deabler Lane, Kinston, reported the theft of two Playstation 2 games. The games are valued at $120.
On Jan. 22, a man on Joe Nunn Road, Kinston, reported someone stole mail from his mailbox.
On Jan. 22, a woman on Morris Drive, Grifton, reported dogs busted out a window at her residence. Damages were estimated at $100.
On Jan. 22, a man reported the following stolen: A Kenmore washing machine valued at $300, a Kenmore clothes dryer valued at $300, and a Kenmore refrigerator/freezer valued at $500. The incident occurred at a residence on Will Cunningham Road, Deep Run.
On Jan. 22, a woman in Kinston reported someone threatened to kill her.
On Jan. 23, a woman on Springbranch Road, Kinston, reported someone assaulted her during a domestic argument.
On Jan. 23, a woman on N.C. 55 East, Seven Springs, reported she was assaulted, resulting in severe lacerations.
On Jan. 24, a man in Grifton reported the following stolen: A Samsung DVD player valued at $75 and a coin collection with book valued at $200. Damages to a door frame were estimated at $300. A Daisy BB gun valued at $35 was seized at the scene.
On Jan. 24, a man on Leland Road, Grifton, reported someone spraypainted a residence, mailbox, and three street signs. Damages were estimated at $1,500.
