The following incidents were reported by the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office and the Kinston Department of Public Safety:
On March 15, a woman on U.S. 70 West, Kinston, reported someone tried to fraudulently obtain money from her.
On March 15, a woman reported someone struck her in the face with a fist. No injuries were reported. The incident occurred at a retail establishment on South Queen Street, Kinston.
On March 15, an employee of Lenoir Community College reported an unknown suspect used items to block a portion of road.
On March 12, a man at Lenoir Community College reported someone drove a vehicle toward him. No injuries were reported.
On March 12, a woman on Frances Place, Kinston, reported someone fraudulently used her information to obtain a cell phone account.
On March 10, an employee of Piggly Wiggly on North McLewean Street, Kinston, reported someone was trespassing in their dumpsters. The incident was cleared by an arrest.
On March 12, an employee of Spinx convenience store on North Queen Street, Kinston, reported someone drove off without paying for $23 in gasoline. The case is lised as closed/cleared, unfounded.
On March 13, a man on Cambridge Drive, Kinston, reported someone threatened to assault him.
On March 13, a woman on Hardee Road, Kinston, reported someone spray painted her vehicle. Damages to the Ford Mustang were estimated at $10,000.
