Suggs charged with raping 14 and 11-year-old
SNOW HILL - An Ayden man whose relatives were charged with statutory rape of a 14-year-old Greene County girl last week was also arrested for the same crime.
Tamarcus Jubane Suggs, 25, of Deborah Drive in Ayden, was charged with one count of felony statutory rape of a 13- to 15-year-old.
In addition to the statutory rape charge, Suggs was also charged with one count of felony rape.
Greene County Sherrif's Office detective V. Mills said the alleged victim of the felony rape is an 11-year-old female.
According to Mills, Suggs is the nephew of Lorenza Suggs Sr., 57, who was charged with felony statutory sexual offense of a 14-year-old on March 30, and the cousin of Lorenza Suggs Jr., 34, who was charged with felony statutory rape of a 14-year-old, also on March 30.
Mills said the alleged victim of the statutory rape in this case was a 14-year-old female.
"This is the same 14-year-old that was involved in the Lorenza Suggs Sr./Jr. case," Mills said.
Mills stated that Suggs turned himself in Monday and is currently being held in the Greene County Jail under a $150,000 bond.
According to the North Carolina Department of Correction Web site, Tamarcus Suggs was convicted in September of assault on a female and sentenced to 18 months probation.

| Do not mention the color. It is a worse crime to associate things which have a connection in reality than children being violated. Let the kid be assaulted, but never make a reasoned analysis. |
