Authorities looking for missing Carteret teen

PELETIER — Carteret County authorities are seeking information on a missing teen.

Amber Nicole Williams, 15, of Peletier ran away from home on May 21 and her parents have not seen or heard from her since, according to a news release issue by the Carteret County Sheriff's Office.

Williams is 5-feet, 6-inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has straight brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a pink shirt with grey undershirt and flip flops.

She is in need of her medication, the release said.

Authorities are seeking information on her whereabouts and anyone with information may submit it anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 252-726-INFO or the Carteret County Sheriff's Office at 252-504-4800.
