Daytona International Speedway

Daytona is magical and not just because it hosts the 500. The whole area is hallowed ground for racers, from the beach where several land-speed records were set to the stretch of A1A once used for the old "beach-road course" races. Opened in 1959, DIS is similar to Talladega, but more narrow and bumpier. The driver probably has a little more to do with the outcome at Daytona than at Talladega, and the multi-car drafts are a little less awe-inspiring.
