It's almost unfair to compare Talladega to any other track. The spectacle is unbelievable. Imagine a parking lot moving at over 190 mph. Imagine 43 cars, all with cruise controls set at 185.
Other tracks have races; this one has sci-fi adventures. It's also a cultural phenomenon. The fans here are the sport's rowdiest, and the races have more surprise endings than any other track. On race day, it's the third-largest city in Alabama behind Birmingham and Montgomery.
