Michigan International Speedway

As hard as this may be to believe, the nicest people in auto racing work at Michigan. From ticket takers to marketing vice presidents, this track has the friendliest people in NASCAR. The state troopers working on race days do, however, tend to get a bit testy.

MIS is noted for races determined by fuel mileage, an inexplicably large number of caution flags credited to "debris," and a relatively small number of crashes. The ones that do occur, however, are often vicious.
