The following incidents were reported today by the Kinston Department of Public Safety and the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office:
On July 11, a man on Yogi Street, Kinston, reported someone broke into his residence and stole the following: A pair of Air Jordan tennis shoes valued at $190, a pair of Timberland boots valued at $145 and two collar button up shirts valued at $100. Damages to the residence were estimated at $50.
On July 11, a woman on Sean Drive, La Grange, reported someone hit her in the face.
On July 11, a woman reported someone damaged her vehicle's rear window. Damages to the window were estimated at $1,000. The incident occurred on Gray Branch Church Road, Deep Run.
On July 11, a man on Ridgeview Drive, Kinston, reported someone damaged his swimming pool by cutting it. Damages to the pool were estimated at $200.
On July 12, a woman on Towerhill Road, Kinston, reported someone stole the air conditioning unit from her residence. The unit is valued at $129.
On July 12, a man reported someone broke into a garage on N.C. 55 West, Seven Springs, and stole the following: A Skill saw valued at $80, three nail gun sets valued at $250, a Craftsman air compressor valued at $150, two 18-volt Dewalt drill set with bits valued at $700 and a 14-volt dewalt drill set valued at $300. Damages to the garage were estimated at $25.
On July 12, a man on Noland Street, Kinston, reported an assault.
On July 12, a man reported the following stolen from a farm on N.C. 55 West, Kinston: One hog valued at $125 (recovered), a cooler valued at $40, food valued at $75 and two fishing poles valued at $52.00.
On July 12, a man on Ben Dail Road, La Grange, reported someone stole a fan motor valued at $300.
On July 11, a man on Little Pond Road, Pink Hill, reported someone bent the windshield wiper on his vehicle and punctured a hole in the hood of his car. Damages to the hood of the 1993 Crown Victoria were estimated at $500; damages to the windshield wiper were estimated at $30.
