Eastern North Carolina's educational connection

Newspapers in Education (NIE) is the literacy program of the Kinston Free Press, the New Bern Sun Journal and the Jacksonville Daily News. NIE, with the support of area schools, colleges and businesses, places newspapers in the classroom to supplement the curriculum and to be used as an instructional resource.
