The Swansboro girls' basketball team will not play Croatan on Friday as previously reported.
Swansboro officials informed The Daily News that the game between the Pirates and Cougars to determine the sixth seed for next week's East Central 2-A Conference tournament had been cancelled.
Instead of playing the game, a coin flip was used to determine the sixth seed. Swansboro is the sixth seed while Croatan will be seventh. Both teams went 4-10 in the ECC.
The rest of the ECC tournament pairings will be released shortly.
